We are book lovers, just like you!

Hi, my name is Logan!

I am the Owner & Resident Reader of The Book Archive!

Opening a bookstore was always a bit of a daydream… one of those “maybe one day” kind of ideas. But somehow, “one day” turned into “right now,” and The Book Archive was born.

My love of books has followed me from childhood memories to bookstore jobs and beyond, but it wasn’t until adulthood that I truly fell in love with stories and the way they connect us.

We started The Book Archive as a way to bring more inclusive, diverse, and exciting stories to fellow book lovers across Canada and what began as a small idea has grown into something really special. While we are primarily online right now, we have ventured into the world of pop-up events and market, being able to reach more of you and talk about the books we all love.

Whether you're hunting for your next queer rom-com, a haunting Indigenous novel, or a feel-good fantasy you didn’t know you needed, we’re here to help you find it.

Thank you for being part of our story so far — here’s to the next chapter.

Our Mission.

Making new and used books accessible to everyone across Canada, while championing diverse authors and stories.

Our Vision.

To build an inclusive community where readers can discover old and new stories.

Our Goals.

To ensure our inventory is reflective of our mission and vision. We aim to have a minimum of 60% of our inventory highlighting diverse authors and stories.

To create an online bookstore experience that is intentional and functional for all of our customers.

To be as accessible as possible to our customers. We aim to do this by providing an online bookstore experience to those who may not have a physical bookstore nearby, and by offering reasonable shipping rates.

To have as little impact on the planet as we possibly can. We aim to package everything in as much recyclable materials as possible.

To one day open a Brick & Mortar!
