Accessibility and representation guide everything we do. As an online and pop-up indie bookstore, TBA brings a curated, community minded bookshop experience to readers across Canada, offering new, bargain, and pre-loved books at a range of price points.
We champion diverse voices and stories because they deserve space, visibility, and care - now and always.
What are New, Bargain, and Pre-Loved Books?
New Books: These are books that are newly printed and are straight from the publisher and distribution center. They've only been on our shelves and are in excellent condition.
Bargain Books: These books have never been read before however, they may have some dings and dents and are sold at a discounted price. Most bargain books will have a black line or dot somewhere along the edges of the book.
Pre-Loved Books: These are used books. They have been read by others and will reflect that in the condition of the books. Some are in "like new condition" and others are in decent condition with "visible wear and tear."
